1914 - 2012. Passed peacefully away at home in Corner Brook on Saturday, May 12th, 2012, Dorothy Colbourne (Hodder) Gillam at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her dear husband William Silas Gillam and brothers Wilson Lloyd Hodder, Frederick G. Bell and John (Buster) Bell. Lovingly remembered by sons: Lloyd (Joy) and John; daughter Irma (John) Moores; grandchildren: Jason (Susan), Laura, Michael (Chloe), David (Sonya), Catherine, Anthony and Khalayla; great-grandchildren: Abby, Ben, Kai and Ian, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation entrusted to the care of Central Funeral Homes. Funeral service was at Holy Trinity on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor. Donations gratefully received as expressions of sympathy to one’s charity of choice.
