The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, of Rebecca Ellen Jessome, a veteran of the Second World War, of Stratford and formerly of Margate, age 92. Rebecca was the beloved wife of the late Eric Jessome; loving mother of Gail Ling (John Coles) and Carolyn Jessome; grandmother of Jason Ling (Robin) and Michael Ling (Denise); and great-grandmother of Christian, Brianna and Cassandra. A graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley, on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Central Queen¹s Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
