Vera Christine Bulmer

Vera Christine Bulmer (nee Murray), 91, died May 22, 2012 at the Brentwood Care Center, Calgary.
Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on October 28, 1920, she was the daughter of William Macdonald “Billy Hide” Murray and Marie Hazel (Carson) Murray, 133 James Street.
She is survived by her son from her first marriage, Eric Carson Cameron, his wife Christine Hayward and their daughter Courtney Cameron, all of Calgary. She is also survived by two nephews, Gary Morrison of New Glasgow and Jim Morrison of Edmonton, and many other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her second husband, George Gordon Bulmer, a native of Campbellton, New Brunswick and a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, who retired with Vera in Linacy, died in 2003; her twin brother Cecil Carson Murray died in February 1921.
She was also predeceased by her half-brother Roy Creelman “Ginger” Murray, her half-brother Fred James Murray; and her sisters Noreen Marjorie (Murray) Gittleman and Frances Elinor (Murray) Morrison.
During a long life filled with challenges, Vera was always ready to go dancing.
Interment in Lorne Street Cemetery later this year.
