Milbury, Robert Arthur Henry “Bob” – 89 of Middleton formerly of East Margaretsville, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 in the Veteran’s Unit at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bridgetown, he was a son of the late Henry and Blanche (Sabean) Milbury. Bob was employed for 35 years at CFB Greenwood. He was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of Royal Canadian Legion Middleton Branch #1. Bob loved gardening, playing cards and dominos. He especially enjoyed visitors and visiting with his family and grandchildren. Bob is survived by daughters, Joan (Ernest) Banks, Wilmot; Marlene Brewster, New Minas and Susan Milbury (Carl Gates), Wilmot; sons, William “Billy” Milbury, East Margaretsville; Richard “Ricky” Milbury (Barbara Bezanson), Wilmot; Maxwell “Max” Milbury (Diane Cousins), Wilmot; James “Jim” Milbury, Aylesford; Brian Milbury, Wilmot; Bruce Milbury, Bridgetown; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sisters; Vangie (Frank) Comeau, Madeline Tupper and Bertha Jagger all of Middleton; Gracie (Richard) Robar, Nictaux; Dot Penny, Middleton; Barbara Daniels, Lawrencetown; Margaret Sellars, Bridgetown and Annie (Larry) Coty, Ontario. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Inez Robar; son, Donnie, sisters, Betty, Flora and Myrtle and brothers, Warren and John. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9PM Wednesday, May 23, 2012 with a Royal Canadian Legion Tribute beginning at 7:00PM, conducted by Middleton Branch #1 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service and reception will be held 2:00PM Thursday, May 24, 2012 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton at a later date.
