With great sadness, we wish to announce that Mark Gordon Wilbur, 61, of Hall's Harbour, Nova Scotia, passed away on June 2, 2012. He has left behind many wonderful memories with his two children, Sarah of New Lambton, Australia(Mick Matthews), George of Grande Prairie, Alberta, his partner of 28 years, Joyce Carter, his brother David (Trudy) and countless nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Dorothy (Condie) Wilbur.

Mark was a wonderful worker of wood. Many of his creations can be found near and far. His sense of humour, his love of life and family, and his wonderful gift of friendship will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

To celebrate his life, a memorial event will be held at the Hall's Harbour Fire Hall on Highway 359, on Tuesday, June 12 at 7:00 PM. Please bring a memory to share.
