HUBBARD, Mary “Pauline” - 85, of Yarmouth, passed away at home on June 2, 2012. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late William and Amelia (Connolly) Hubbard. Aunt Pauline is survived by her brother George “Hub” Hubbard, Brandon, MB; as well as several nephews and nieces across Canada. She was predeceased by brothers, Donald, George, Johnny and Robert; sisters, Marjorie, Angelina, Beatrice, Jeanette, Madlen and Gladys. Pauline was a lifelong member of St. Ambrose Parish and an active member of the Catholic Womens League. Even though she never married or worked outside the house, Pauline enjoyed a full and worthwhile life. She took great pride in the care she provided to all family members or visitors who came to her home. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation took place on Thursday, June 7 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 567 Main St. followed by a funeral mass at 2 p.m. at St. Ambrose Cathedral, Father John MacPherson officiated. Pauline was laid to rest in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pauline’s memory to St. Ambrose Parish or to a charity of your choice.
