Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, June 5th, 2012, John Lewis of Conception Harbour - Age 88 years. Predeceased by his wife Anna and great- granddaughter Aysley Rose Mahoney. Leaving to mourn his daughter Marguerite (Edward Mahoney); sons: John (Mary), and Jerome (Geri); special friend Mary Wade; grandchildren: Melissa, Edward, Tom, Gina, Charlene, Johnny, Karyn and Stephanie; five great-grandchildren; brothers: Brendan (Marie), Joseph (Genevieve) and George; sisters: Elizabeth (Daniel Lewis) and Rita (Frank Maher), and extended family and friends. Resting at Conways Funeral Home, Conception Harbour on Thursday, June 7th from 1 p.m.-9 p.m. and Friday, June 8th from 1 p.m.-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at 11 a.m. from St. Annes Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Annes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
