Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony on June 1, 2012, Mrs. Rilla Fillier of Roddickton, NL, in her 98th year. Mrs. Fillier leaves to mourn her beloved children Mae (Thomas) Waskiewicz-Jackson, Michigan, USA, Rifford (Gaye) Fillier, Bide Arm, Edwin (Minnie) Fillier, Roddickton, Wilburn (Joan) Fillier, Roddickton, and Eric (Jessie) Fillier, Roddickton; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren, plus other relatives and friends. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton from where the funeral service took place on Monday, June 4, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rene S. Cassell officiating. Burial followed the service in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
