PIERRE "Peter" BOUTIN

Peter Boutin passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne in 2001; brother, Paul; and parents, Joseph and Maria. Peter is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Sylvia (Paul) Semesock, Rita (Rick) Bernard, Lucy (Fred) Tessier, Emile (Bonnie) Boutin, and Joe (Jill) Boutin; and Mary’s children, Brenda (Stephen) Duff and Gloria (Barry) Taylor; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Peter was a long-time farmer retiring from active farming in 2002. He was a charter member of the St. Louis Lions Club and took pride in promoting Lionism. He loved to play his fiddle and was involved in several Old-Time music groups over the years. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 8th, at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church (602 Boychuk Drive) with Fr. Michel Bedard as the celebrant. A Private Interment will take place following the lunch, in the Prince Albert Memorial Gardens with Vigar General Rev. Maurice Fiolleau presiding. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peter’s name to a charity of choice.
