(June 9, 1959 - June 3, 2012). Passed away June 3, 2012 in Brampton, Ontario in the presence of family and friends after a long courageous battle with cancer, Jean (nee Hanlon) Payne, originally of St. Mary’s Bay, Newfoundland, in her 52nd year. Predeceased by her parents Anita and James Hanlon, nephew Terry Hanlon, parents-in-law Josiah and Annie Payne, and brother-in-law Gary Payne. Leaving to mourn her husband Dwight; daughter Sonya (Gordon); son Brandon (Samantha); sisters: Maureen (Ray) Gushue, Patsy Hanlon (Tony Lewis), Donna (Henry) Power, Judy (Brian) Power, Corrina (Cliff) Hanlon; brothers: Jim (Patricia), Don (Marguerite), Brian (Marlene), Allan (Libby), Ray (Margo), Pat, David (Mary Lou), Craig (Heather); brothers-in-law: Russo (Marie), Mike (Brenda), Joe (Marion), Eli, Walt (Joanne), Ellwood (Pam), Howard (Karen), and sister-in-law Juanita. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces and nephews, extended family members, and large circle of friends too numerous to mention. Family extends a special thank-you to Brittany Decker for her care and compassion. Resting at Andrews Community Funeral Centre — Bramalea Chapel, Brampton, Ontario.
