It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Everett Joseph Hussey on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, Ont., after a short illness.
Born in Sydney in 1926, Everett is the son of the late Joseph and Jessie (Lodge) Hussey.
Everett is survived by is wife, Agnes and son, Brian; daughter-in-law, Susan; and two granddaughters, Trudy and Catherine. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Legge) and Evelyn (Dicks).
Everett was predeceased by sisters, Edna Simms, Helen Coadic, Phyllis Kennedy, Jean Smith and two brothers, Gordon and Norman; as well as two siblings, Llewellyn and Beatrice in infancy.
Everett worked on the Sydney Steel Plant until 1967. At that time, he moved to Toronto and worked in the automotive industry until his retirement in 1988.
A loving father and grandfather, he will be sincerely missed by his family and friends.
