IRENE JOAN MARSHALL "NANA" 1924 ~ 2008 It is with great sorrow the family of Irene Joan Marshall announces her passing at the age of 83 years on March 9, 2008 at Ponderosa Lodge, Kamloops. Left to cherish her memory are her son Rob (Brenda), grandchildren Karen (Todd), Tami (Bryn), Sherry (Terry), Jennifer (Rod), Nicolas (Benita), Jennifer (Dan), Jason; daughters Diane (Tom); Debbie (Don), grandsons Damian and Derek; sisters Sylvia Janicki of Chilliwack and Carol Carusi (Mario) of Kamloops; sister-in-law Ruth Emeny (Frank) also of Kamloops. Mom is survived by ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mom was preceded by her parents Stan and Frances Jennings, husband James "Spud" Albert Marshall, brother Stan Jennings and brother-in-law Vic Janicki. Mom loved gardening, reading and walking Kelly (her four legged companion). Her most enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Time spent with Nana was always a wonderful experience whether it was singing in the car on a road trip, hunting for Easter goodies in her yard or weekend sleepovers. She could often be seen cheering at a soccer or basketball game. She loved her grandchildren unconditionally. No service by request.
