It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Raymond Frederick Taylor of Raleigh, NL, announce his passing at the age of 80 years on June 11, 2012 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony. Mr. Raymond F. Taylor leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 46 years Mary, son Andrew (Tara); daughter Joan (Bruce); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother Gilbert (Marjorie); sisters-in-law Mamie and Helen; brothers-in-law Wally and Donald Spurell. He was predeceased by his daughter Jill, parents Frederick and Martha, brothers Arch and Garl, and sister Irene. Visitation was held at the Untied Church in Raleigh from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
