GALEY, LOIS - Lois Galey, 73, of Mill Cove Nursing Home, passed away at her residence on June 17, 2012. Born in Saint John, Lois was a daughter of the late Henry Addy and Ann Cecilia (nee McCann) Galey. Lois is survived by her nieces and nephews: Miriam (Rick) Galey, David (Katherine) Galey, Sheila Galey, Michael Galey, Elaine (Ian) MacInnis, and Kathryn Ann (Roger) Collet; sister-in-law Betty Galey; grand nieces: Stephanie, Amanda, Elise, and Sarah; grand nephews: Curtis, Gordon, Mathieu and Daniel; and several aunts and cousins. Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by her brother, Rev. Canon Leonard J. Galey; nephew John Galey; and several uncles and aunts. Special thanks to caregivers: Jo-Anne, Kim, Carol, Susan, and Lorna. Thanks to the Belleisle Creek Manor and to the Mill Cove Nursing Home. Lois was a member of the Trinity ACW, and the bible study group. Lois’ biggest love in life was children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9pm at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road. There will also be a time of visitation at 10:00am at the Trinity Anglican Church prior to the funeral service which will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 12:00pm with The Ven. David Barrett presiding at the Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex. Donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to the Rev.
