Donald Arthur Coburn, age 60, Hantsport, Hants County, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at home. Born on November 13th, 1951 in Kentville, Kings County, he was the son of the late, James Robert Coburn and Doris Irene (Saulnier) Waye; step-father, Jeff “Harry” Waye. Donald worked for Miller Industrial Cold Milling for the past seventeen years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Somme Branch # 31, Dartmouth. Donald was an avid fisherman. Surviving are his children, Jeff Coburn, Bedford; Molly Coburn, Dartmouth; brothers, Gerald (Sandra), Hantsport; George, Mount Uniacke; Sister, Linda (Dave) Patterson, Hantsport; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nephew, Joseph Victor LeCouter. Hants County Branch No.009 Royal Canadian Legion held a legion tribute at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 and visitation followed until 9 pm in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home 194 King street, Windsor, Nova Scotia. Funeral service was held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel . Cremation followed.
