BOLAND, Mary Marie - 86, of Caledonia, formerly of Bangs Falls, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Molega Mines, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Whynot) Sutherland. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at home, keeping the house, tending the garden and cattle and playing with her grandchildren. She loved to knit and listen to Tommy Hunter. Her chocolate fudge was enjoyed by everyone in the family. She is survived by her daughter Virginia (Peter) Stafford of Red Deer, AB; daughter-in-law Linda Uhlman of Bangs Falls; grandchildren Sherri (Rudolph) Hebrang; Nicole (John) Cross; Stephanie (Corey) Tracy; Justin (Kelly) Stafford and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Harley; son James and brother Chester. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service was held Monday, June 25th, 2012 in South Brookfield Community Cemetery. No flowers by request.
