SELVAGE, Agnes Mary - 89, of the Meadows in Yarmouth, passed away June 21, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Quinan, she was a daughter of the late Gustave and Fanny (Frotton) Vacon. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Mel) Materi, Kelowna, B.C.; grand children, Tim, Larissa, Colleen and Stephan; great- grandchildren, Braydon and Gavin; son, Joseph, Montreal; grandchildren, Carolyn and Karen; sisters, Mary, Emily, Emma, Jenny and Eva. Agnes was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved bingo, baking and knitting. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; brothers, Phillip, Gus and Leo; half-brothers, Peter, Leyander, Jobie and Alvenie; sister, Elise; half-sisters, Mamie and Sister Isabel of the Good Shepherd. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. A visitation was held from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with prayers at 8 p.m. on Sunday evening. A funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. on Monday from St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiated. Family flowers only.
