The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, of Ottis MacKinnon, of Ottawa Street, Summerside, aged 75 years. Born in Southwest Lot 16, he was the son of the late Alfred and Mabel (MacNeill) MacKinnon. Survived by his wife Ruby (Crossman) MacKinnon; son Ralph (Lori Rice); daughter Faye (Mike) Perry; and a sister Daisy Stephenson, all of Summerside. Predeceased by a sister Lallah Campbell and brothers Percy, Burleigh, Herman, Stanley, Lloyd, Ennis, Lawrence, Wallace and Morley MacKinnon. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held on Monday. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by personal request.
