COLLINS (Scott), Patricia Ann – 85, Truro, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 28, 2012, in The Magnolia, Enfield. Born in Truro in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Eva (Murphy) Scott and a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her brother, Bill Scott, Orangeville, Ontario; children, Alanna Miller (Ron Lawlor), Paul Collins, Halifax; Maureen Halliday, Truro; Mary Jane Collins (Michael Evans), Suzanne Collins, Toronto; Joanne Collins, Valley; grandchildren, Andrea Miller (Adan), Craig Halliday (Emer), Nicole and Collin McKinnon; cousin, Monsignor John Campbell, Enfield. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Beverly; son, John Thomas Collins; brother, Jack Scott; sisters, Mary Morgan, Geraldine Schenk. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the incredible staff at The Magnolia who showed remarkable care, kindness and love while mom was a resident. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Patricia’s family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., today, June 29, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 669 Prince Street, Truro. Reception will follow in Campbell Hall.
