Passed peacefully away at his home in Rencontre East on Monday, June 25, 2012, Mr. Reginald Caines, age 88 years. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Florence; sons, John and wife, Karen at Rencontre East, Robert and wife, Sherry Lynn at Mount Pearl, and Corey and wife, Torina at Rencontre East; daughters, Jessie Boser at Red Deer, AB, Eliza Ann (Lloyd Mullins) at Harbour Breton, Irene (Carmen Hardy) at Rencontre East, and Maxine Baker (Maurice) at Seal Cove, CBS; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; brother, Clyde Caines at Rencontre East; special nephew, Tom Caines, special niece, Marlene Augot and his caregiver, Yvonne Sheppard, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Phoebe Ann Caines and other relatives.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm from St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Rencontre East with Rev. Mildred Tobin officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Rencontre East.
