The death occurred suddenly at the Royal Alexander Hospital, Edmonton, AB, on Monday, June 25, 2012, of Nancy "Nan" Millar, of Edmonton, AB and formerly of Summerside, aged 55 years. Born in Charlottetown, she was the daughter of Wyman and Beverley (Birch) Millar. Survived by her sisters Pamela Millar (Steve Chappell), Edmonton, AB; Susan Millar, Kelly’s Cross; brother Andrew (Angela) Millar, Linkletter; niece Gillian Arsenault, Halifax, NS; nephews Joshua Millar, Charlottetown; and Ryan Millar, Linkletter; grandmother Jeanette Birch, Andrews of Summerside; aunts and uncles Doris MacKendrick, Birch Hill; Bertha (David) Fram, Charlottetown; Marlene (Harold) Noye, Summerside; Anne Harland (Harry Williams), Halifax, NS; Sandra Birch (Frank Gaasenbeck), Stratford, ON; David (Mary) Birch, Birch Hill; and Audrey (Lew) Philp, Trenton, ON. Predeceased by her uncle Allan MacKendrick. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside where funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Bideford United Church Cemetery, Bideford. Visiting hours Saturday from 6-8 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations to the C.A.T. Action Team or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
