VEYSEY, ANNE - The death of Rosella Anne (Sands) Veysey, age 70, wife of Vernon Veysey of Passekeag, NB, occurred at her residence on Friday, June 29, 2012. She was born in Bloomfield, NB, on October 8, 1941, the daughter of the late Edward and Rosella (Boyle) Sands. Anne is survived by her husband Vernon; sons, Bob and Sylvia Adair of Bloomfield, Maurice and Barbara Adair of Bloomfield and Ronald Adair at home; grandchildren, Nathan, Krystal, Joshua and Nicolas; sister Catherine McGinnis of Fairvale; brother Edwin and Barbara Sands of Hampton; sisters-in-law, Gertie Sands of Bloomfield, Audrey Sands, Helen and Frank Burnett of Ontario, Marguerite O’Dell of Saint John, and Mary Veysey of Ontario; brothers-in-law, Arthur Veysey of Ontario, George and Ruby Veysey of Ontario and Douglas and Cathy Veysey of Ontario; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth Adair; sisters, Edith Sands and Eileen Mullin; brothers, Maurice, Laurence, Joseph and Gerald Sands; brothers-in-law, Walter Mullin and Willie McGinnis.
She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Father Arnie Hachey, will be held from Sacred Heart Church, Norton, NB, at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
