The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, N.S. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, of "Douglas" Wayne John Kinsman of Oyster Bed Bridge, P.E.I., and formerly of Dartmouth, N.S., aged 51 years. Douglas was born in London, Ont., on Sept. 11, 1957, to his late parents, Douglas and Shirley Mae (nee Boudreau) Kinsman. Beloved father of Samantha Masters (Mark Weir) of Cornwall, P.E.I., Anita Masters of New Glasgow and Alishia Kinsman of Cornwall. Also lovingly remembered by his granddaughter, Shelbie Weir-Masters. Survived by his sister, Myrna, and his brother, Butch, of Nova Scotia. Besides his parents, Douglas was predeceased by his sister, Donna. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Saturday, Nov. 15 for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Following cremation , interment will take place at a later date.
