THOMPSON, MARGARET M. (MARGIE) - 1939 - 2012 - Miramichi - Mary Margaret Elizabeth (Margie) Thompson, wife of Joseph A. (Sonny) Thompson, of the Murdock Road, Napan, passed away at her residence, on Saturday morning, July 7, 2012, at the age of 73. Born in Chatham Head, on March 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. (Theriault) Milson. She was a homemaker and a member of Carmel United Church, Napan. She is survived by her husband, Joseph (Sonny) Thompson; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Williston (Willis), of Miramichi and Mrs. Bonnie Thompson (Hubert), of Napan; two sons, Daryl Thompson, of Napan and Jim Thompson (Molly), of St. Albert, AB; two sisters, Bonnie Goulette (Billy) and Freda Marsh, all of Miramichi; two brothers, Sonny Milson (Noel) and Merle Milson (Patricia), all of Miramichi; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one infant son, Joseph Alexander.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday evening, from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Carmel United Church, Napan, on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 3 pm, conducted by Penny Postlethwaite. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors’ choice, would be appreciated by the family.
