AJIT SINGH GILL It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, and great grandfather Ajit Singh Gill on June 30, 2008 at the age of 74, in Surrey, BC. Ajit leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years Resham Kaur, two sons Jasvir (Balwinder) of Surrey, BC and Davinder (Cindy) of Kamloops, BC. Five grandchildren Simirit, Ranj, Baldiesh, Kassia, and Kalie. Four great grandchildren Shaan, Siaya, Trace and Beckett. Two brothers Gian Singh and Harban Singh both of Kamloops. One sister Gian Kaur, of Edmonton, AB. Predeceased by his father in 1947, his brother in 1949 and his mother in 2005. Ajit immigrated to Canada Jan. 5, 1965 from Jamshera (Jalundar), India. Ajit moved to Avola, BC and worked there until 1970 and moved to Kamloops, BC until he retired in 1994. Ajit resided in Surrey, BC until his passing. Even though he is not here with us he will stay in our hearts forever. We love you and will always remember your peaceful nature and nurturing smile. Funeral services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home and Crematorium, 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta, BC (604) 940-1313 at 3:00 p.m. on July 5, 2008. Followed by a prayer service at the Scott Road Sikh Temple
