It is with great sadness that the family of the late CATHERINE MARIE FEWER of St. Bernard’s announces her passing at home in St. Bernard’s, NL on Sunday, July 8th, 2012 at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Tom (Bessie) of Bay L’Argent, Terry (Jacquie) of Marystown, Greg (Sharon) of Marystown, Johnny of Nova Scotia, Rudolph (John) of St. John’s, Glenn (Pam) of St. Bernard’s and Jamie (Odette) of St. Bernard’s; Daughters Ada Byrne (Dominic) of Topsail Pond, Alice Lake (Arch) of Mount Pearl, Cora Hynes (Francis) of St. Bernard’s, Beatrice Mayo of St. John’s, Juanita Fewer of Fort McMurray, Theresa Fewer of Mount Pearl, Gayle Wiscombe (Jeff) of Fort McMurray, and Nicole Fewer (Gerard Hackett) of Mount Pearl; one Brother Gus Whittle; one Sister Marion Hayse; 26 Grandchildren Carla, Gus, Renee, Chad, Ericka, Edwina, Vanessa, Shannon, Travis, Cody, Zach, Joshua, Terra, Matthew, Brandon, Caeleigh, Kathleen, Tori, Tanner, Taylor, James, Karleigh, Jacob, Jayda, Maddison, and Paige; 9 Great-Grandchildren Nicholas, Christopher, Stephen, Tyler, Sarah, Katie, Fallyn, Jaxon and Trae; plus a very large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Rudolph Fewer; Parents Tom and Rebecca Whittle; and Sister Theresa Whittle.

Funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 at 2:00pm from Sacred Heart R.C. Church in St. Bernard’s. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in St. Bernard’s. In Marie’s memory, donations may be made to Sacred Heart RC Church, St. Bernard’s or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
