NESS, FRIEDA - The death of Frieda Adele Ness, age 80, wife of Allan Ness, of Belleisle Creek, NB, occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was born in Joliffs Brook, NB, the daughter of the late Percy and Adele (Hughes) Northrup. Frieda is survived by her husband Allan; daughters Linda and Cyril Vail of Belleisle Creek, Valerie and Stephen Hayes of Midland; sons Rodney and Rose Ness of Fredericton, and Layton and Brenda Ness of Belleisle Creek; grandchildren Patricia Vail and Amanda, Tim and Crista Vail, Nick and Stacy Vail, Trevor and Marcia Hayes, Cory and Chantale Hayes, Andrew and Kathleen Hayes, Julie and Joel McConchie, Adam and Yasmine Ness, Heidi and Daryl Cooper, Michael and Kalie Ness and Derek Ness; great grandchildren Emily, Brandon and Cameron Vail, Hannah and Ayden Vail, Lukas and Megan Hayes and Brooklyn Ness; sisters Jessie Patterson of Hampton, and Alice Kellier of Sussex; sisters-in-law Hattie Northrup of Fox Hill, Mary and Howard Joynes of Belleisle Creek, and Patricia Ness of Ottawa; brothers-in-law Bob and Eleanor Ness of Sussex, Ray and Helen Ness of Sussex, Jack and Madeline Ness of Sussex, and Ron Ness of Belleisle Creek; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Hazel Neill; brothers Eldon and Gerald Northrup; sisters-in-law Jean E. Ness, Jane L. Ness and Leona Northrup; brothers-in-law Pat Patterson, Wes Alcorn, Francis Kellier, Ed Ness, Russell Ness, Don Ness and Ray Neill.
She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB., with visiting from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm., on Thursday. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Tom Robinson, will be held from Kings Kirk United, Belleisle Creek, NB, at 11:00 am., on Friday July, 13, 2012, followed by a private family interment in St. Simon and St. Jude’s Anglican Cemetery, Belleisle Creek, NB.
