ELIZABETH (Bette) WOLFE.Our mother, Elizabeth (Bette) Wolfe, of Kamloops passed away suddenly on February 7, 2009 at the age of 88 years following a short battle with cancer. Bette is survived by her son Bob (Darrah) Wolfe of Kamloops, daughter Susan (Brian) Henderson of Ashcroft and grandchildren Eamon and Rigby Wolfe of Kamloops and Meghan (Mike) and Ryan Henderson of Ashcroft. Bette is also survived by her sister Neila (Hank) Alexander also of Kamloops, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bette was predeceased by her husband Bob, brother Ernie and sister Sally. Born and raised in Vancouver, Bette met and married Robert in 1947. Son Bob arrived in 1950 followed by Susan in 1953. After a short stop over in Princeton, the Wolfe's settled in Brocklehurst in 1956. Bette worked in the Super Valu Bakery in North Hills for many years and after retiring volunteered for many organizations until her health prevented her from doing so. Bette was especially proud of both of her children and all of her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 18th at the Masonic Hall in Kamloops.
