POLKOSNIK Frank Polkosnik passed away peacefully with his family by his side on, February 22, 2009 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House. Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years Gerri, his children: Joanne (Carmelo) Bartella of Kamloops, Bud (Rachelle) Polkosnik of Alberta, and Cindy (Jack) Humphrey of Kamloops; his grandchildren: Cassandra, Justin, Ella, Lexus and Laityn, his two brothers and one sister, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Frank loved to take part in outdoor activities, and enjoyed prospecting and watching sports. He always found a vehicle to fix or some plumbing to do, as he liked to keep busy and to help people at the same time. There will be no formal service. The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9.
