SKERRY, CLAUDINE - Claudine Skerry, 60, wife of John Skerry of ProTem Dieppe and formerly of Cornwall Point Shediac, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at her residence. Born October 11, 1951 in Bourgeois Mills, she was the daughter of the late Camille and Laura (Léger) Boudreau. Claudine was a devoted wife, sister, friend and loving mother of their boys. For 17 years her unconditional love helped her care for son, Jason (cerebral palsy). She brought him everywhere to soccer, hockey games, family outings and many playful hours in the family pool. With her warm and calm character Claudine never complained about anything and always embraced life one day at a time. Besides her husband John; Claudine, will be sadly missed by her two sons: Reggie (Lise) of Shediac and Marc (Tina) Netherlands; six sisters: Tilla Boudreau (Louis Boudreau) and Maria Boudreau (Victor) both of Boudreau-Ouest, ThérèseGaudet (Claude), Denise LeBlanc and Angèle Comeau (Réginald) all of Grand-Barachois and Murielle Correia (Richard) of Ontario; four brothers: Rosemond (Thérèse) and Maurice (Michelle) both of Shediac, Ronald (Lorette) of Grand-Digue and Daniel (Denise) of Grand-Barachois; four grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jason; two sisters: Jeannette and Rosella and two brothers: Clorice and Gerard.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Sunday, July 29 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac on Monday, July 30 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
