PETERS, JEAN E. - Jean E. Peters, 86, of Monarch Hall, Riverview and formerly of People’s Park Tower, Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday morning, July 25, 2012. Born in Clairville, she was the daughter of the late Mae (Robinson) MacLean and Thomas Robinson and the stepdaughter of the late Murray MacLean. Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Jean will be sadly missed by her grandsons, Tyler and Tom Roach, both of Riverview; sister, Irene Taylor of Waltham, Mass; special nephew, Arthur Robinson of Grand Island, NY; several other nieces and nephews and devoted friends, Audrey and Bill Roach. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Peters (1967), daughter, Brenda Roach (2000) and son, Gary Peters (2005); sisters, Evelyn Lynch and Vera Beers; brothers, Irving, Harry and Tommy Robinson.
Visitation on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral at 1:00 pm at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) with Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Interment, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Clairville. In Jean’s memory, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
