BELYEA, GEORGE - The death of George Freeman Belyea, age 73, husband of Beverley (Lemaire) Belyea of Cambridge-Narrows, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, on Friday, July 27, 2012. He was born in Cambridge-Narrows on March 30, 1939, the son of the late Lemont and Marion (McGarity) Belyea. George is survived by his wife Beverley; sons Norman and Jo-Anne Belyea of Saint John, Raymond and Paula Belyea of Cambridge-Narrows and; daughter Darlene and Shane Diebold of Holstein, ON; grandchildren Colin, Janelle, Evan, Nicholas, Kyle, Jasmine and Benjamin; sister Alice Simpson of Berwick; brother Herman Belyea of Cambridge-Narrows; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brothers Donald, Gordon Harold, Norman, Albert, Edward and Robert; sisters Elsie McRae and Bessie Kennedy.
The family will receive visitors at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, from 4 to 8 pm. on Monday. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bob Johnson, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am., on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Interment will take place in Narrows Baptist Cemetery.
