Slipped quietly away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 after a brief illness, Bertha M. Hancock (Fry). Predeceased by her husband Cecil (Bud) and parents: Edith and Edward Fry. Bertha leaves to mourn her siblings: Immanuel (Vera-deceased), Barbara (Doug) Wood, Lora (Bill) Johnson, Linda (Eric Burke); nieces and nephews: Peter Fry, Penney O’Neil (Colin-deceased), Perry Fry (Angela Taylor), Gillian Wood (Denis Levesque), Gina Wood (Tony Leach), Christopher Johnson (Leanne), Kathy Bukatman (Larry); great nieces and nephews: Shawn O’Neil, Trinity Wood and Nolan Leach. Special aunt and uncle Alma and Charlie Earle; also a number of other relatives and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 3pm-9pm. Private inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Daffodil Place. The family wish to thank the staff of 5 South B, Health Sciences Center and the Palliative Care Unit.
