Martha Rebecca — Sept. 5, 1935 - July 27, 2012
With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, grand-ma, and great-grandma Martha. Surrounded by her loving family she slipped peacefully away today. Mom’s sickness was a great shock to her, her family, and friends. She was a kind, loving and compassionate woman who cherished her seven children, thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is now without pain or suffering and is our angel watching over us all. Predeceased by loving parents William and Sarah Hurley. She will be forever missed by her two sons Bob(Edie), Jerry(special daughter-in-law Karen), and five daughters Sally(Noel), Bessie, Cassie(predeceased), Shirley(predeceased), Kathleen(Dan). Thirteen grandchildren Matthew(Eileen), Robert, Patrick, Jamie(Jessica), Amanda(Jonathan), Jeffrey(Stefanie), Keith(Tanya), Raymond, Raylene, Justin(Jessica), Justine(Gary) Johnathan and Ryan. Six great grandchildren Skyla, Abigale, Jake, Jayden(predeceased), Andrew and Jayden. Also forever in their hearts is her brother Cliff and four sisters, Rose, Ada, Winnie and Kathleen. Sisters in-law Joan Hurley, Sadie Snow and Voilet Mercer. And she will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and her abundance of friends. Resting at Holloway"s Funeral Home in Whitbourne. Visitation Sunday 10am to 9:30 pm. Monday 10am to 9;30 pm. Tuesday 10am to 12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 2pm from the Trinity United Church, Blaketown. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Greens Harbour. In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully accepted by The Childrens Wish Foundation and The Cancer Society in her loving memory.
