It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert David Barrett, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Sunday, July 29, 2012. Born March 13, 1947, he was a son of the late Charles and Amelia (Debaie) Barrett.
Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Sandra (MacDonald) Barrett; son Charles; daughter Barbara (Jerry); brothers, Bill (Janice) and John (Carol Anne); sister, Ruth (Danny) Brown; mother-in-law, Myrta MacDonald; brothers-in-law, Nelson Wood, and Leonard Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, James; sisters, Marion, Doris, Shirley and Jean; and father-in-law David MacDonald.
Cremation has taken place under the care of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill (597-2361), from where visitation will take place from noon until 2 PM on Friday, August 3, 2012. Immediately following visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2 PM. Burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Family flowers only, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob may do so to the family fund, or a charity of your choice.
