It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Francis ‘J.B.’ Brennan on Friday, July 27, 2012.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Duhart) Brennan.
For over 30 years, John was employed as a taxi driver.
Surviving are his sister, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Brennan; sister-in-law, Margaret Assoun and several nieces and nephews. He loved his pet, Puss Puss.
John was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and Michael; sister, Mary Catherine Zinck and the love of his life, Shirley MacNeil.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday 10 a.m., with Rev. Anthony O’Connor officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to palliative care.
