Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, Friday, August 3, 2012, Minnie Bishop, formerly of Wesleyville, Bonavista Bay in her 90th year. Predeceased by husband Arthur (1989); parents William and Maude Fifield; brothers Joseph (May), Howard (Ada); and sister Selma (James Corbett). Left with fond and loving memories her children sons Eric (Betty), Lloyd, Claude (Marilyn) and John (Emma); daughters Maude (Ches), Pearl, Linda (Mike) and Olive. Also leaving to mourn sisters Olive Andrews, Myrtle Goodyear and Pearl Parsons. Minnie also leaves to mourn 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, August 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from St. James United Church, Elizabeth Ave. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
