It is with great sadness that the families of Louie Emile MacDonald announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 at the age of 66 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Shirley nee Reid, his daughters; Diane MacDonald of Vancouver, & Brenda (Charles) Hewitt, of Fort McMurray, his sisters; Jean Chiasson New Waterford, NS, Shirley (Joe) O'Quinn, & Ce Ann (Dave) Hall, both of Oakville, Ontario, brothers; Neil (Betty) of Toronto, Ontario, Paddy (Carmella) of New Waterford, NS, Danny (Joan) of West Bay, NS, & Albert (Linda) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, sister in law; Doris (Don) White of Montreal, brother in laws; Leonard HeineKamp, Theo (Ruby) Reid, Clarence (Pauline) Reid, & Eric (Minetta) Reid all of Reidville, NL, Clayton (Sylvia) Reid & Herb (Michelle) Reid, both of Edmonton, AB, & Walter Watkins of Deer Lake, NL, his special friend Bernie (Carol) Bates of New Waterford, NS, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives family and friends, Louie was predeceased by his sister; Bernadette Heinekamp, & sister in law; Francis Watkins. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, today Monday, August 6th, 2012, from the hours of 7 - 9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012, & wednesday, August 8th, 2012 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, August 9th, 2012, at 10:30: am with Mons Jim Robertson officiating with Cremation to follow, and a private burial to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the palliative Care unit of the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, Nl, in Louie's memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
