It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Bennett of Trepassey, age 50, on August 5th, 2012. After a courageous battle with cancer, Brenda passed away at her home in the presence of her loving family and friends. Predeceased by her father Walter Winter, brothers: Aaron and Dwight, father and mother-in-law Patrick and Martha Bennett, brothers-in-law: Vince, Tony and Stan. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 24 years, Ambrose Bennett; daughter Kayla March (Brad); son Vincent and mother Ida; brothers: Billy (Ita), Wayne ( Patsy), Roland (Carmella); sisters: Eva Penton (Pierce), Marge Bursey (Don), Marilyn Haggett (Merlin) and Lousie Winter; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom Bennett (Rosemary), John Bennett (Bernice), Patrick Bennett (Marie), Kevin Bennett (Anne), Robert Bennett (Phil), Don Bennett, Mike Bennett (Louise), Irene McNeil, Agnes Ricketts (Art), and Belle Bennett. Special friends: Leona and Colin Osmond, Donna and Billy Pike. She is also survived by a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Remains resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Trepassey. Visitation on Monday, August 6th from 2-9 p.m., Tuesday, August 7th from 10 a.m. -9 p.m., Wednesday, August 8th from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey.
