The death occurred at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, N.S., on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, of Christopher Rene Buckle of Summerside, aged 55 years. Rene was born on Aug. 3, 1957, in Mutton Bay, Que., to his late parents Johnny and Bertha Buckle. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Gillcash) Buckle and loving father of Tamara Buckle of Calgary, Alta., and Christina Buckle of Summerside. Survived by his brother Stanley (Judy) of Seven Islands, Que., his sister Gloria (Eldon) Bobbitt and sister-in-law Julie Bobbitt all of Mutton Bay, Que. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Rene was predeceased by his brother William. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Friday, Aug. 10, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
