It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Willcott announce her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday August 4, 2012 at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sister Dorothy Willcott, St. John’s, NL, Rod (Marie), St. Alban’s, NL, Levi (Jenny), St. John’s, NL, Mary (Eugene Simmons), Labrador City, NL, Dan (Lorraine), Chris (Wanda), all of St. Alban’s, NL & Gerard (Gail), Ottawa, ON; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Alexander; brother: Levi Collier; sisters: Annie Blanchard, Marie Marshall & Theresa White. The funeral service was held on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating.
