Scholar James P. Quigley
Remembering
“Scholar”
James P. Quigley
(1926 - 2008)
Summers come and summers go,
Visits home no more the same,
The older Folks are passing on,
New people on old Conway Lane.
Autumn, winter and spring pass too,
For those left, but not for you,
The angels have you in their arms,
With them you are safe and warm.
As I head home I think of you,
Your care, concern and wisdom too,
The hearty way you lived your days,
Your smile, your laugh, your special ways.
You wouldn’t want us to be sad,
But to live and love and laugh together,
And though we miss you every day,
In our hearts you will live forever.
With love always,
Sandra.
