With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father, poppy, brother and friend, William Thomas Walsh, 59, who left us suddenly in his home in Mississauga, Ont., on Sunday Aug. 5, 2012.
Born Oct. 19, 1952 in Glace Bay.
Bill is survived by his wife, Gail (Stillman); son, William IV; daughter, Kristen; daughter-in-law, Crystal; and grandchildren, Taylor, William (V), Thomas, James, Jordan, Ethan and Andrew; brothers, Michael (Lisa), Danny (Shauna), Ron (Kim), Kenny (Monica Ann), Bradley (Angela); sisters, Theresa (Butch) Dunn, Carmel (Blaise), Rita (Owen) Hann, Nancy (Jamie) Whyte; sisters-in-law, Linda McMullen (Stillman), Debbie Walsh (Roy); and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Carole (McLean) and brother, Joseph Patrick.
A mass will be held for the family at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, St. Anne’s Church in Glace Bay.
Bill’s spirit and profound devotion to his family and friends will be remembered always.
