Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 4, Mary Ann Parsons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Walter and Mary Agnes Doyle; parents-in-law: Richard and Emma Parsons; brother-in-law: Richard 'Junior' Parsons; sister-in-law: Evelyn Gold; special nephew: Jamie Doyle. Left to mourn, husband: Ralph; two daughters: Brenda (Roger) Haynes, St. John’s and Tracey (Barry) Scott, Burnt Point; two sons: Richard (Arlene) and Christopher (Anna), both of Ochre Pit Cove; seven grandchildren: Kirsten, Brianne, Andrew, Jenna, Kyle, Lucas and Hailey; three brothers: Patrick (Julie) Doyle, Gull Island, James (Marilyn) Doyle, Paradise and Edward (Aggie) Doyle, Ochre Pit Cove; two sisters: Theresa (Michael) North, Ochre Pit Cove and Rose (Jim) Tucker, Lower Sackville, NS; brother-in-law: Joseph (Mildred) Parsons, Buchans; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Fr. Pio Sumbilon conducted the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 7 at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment took place in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. Donations in her memory may be made to Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church or Cemetery, Northern Bay.
