At Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, of Hazel Belle (Palmer) Grigg of Wedgewood Manor, formerly of Poplar Grove, aged 94, wife of the late Eldon Grigg. Born in Conway on April 24, 1918, daughter of the late Nelson and Lula Winnifred (Heustis) Palmer. Loving grandmother of Irene (Robert) Quinn, Leominster, MA; Timothy (Lisa), Gardner, MA.; Brian (Renee), Hiltonhead Island, SC; and Carmen Jr., Westminster, MA. Great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband in 2007, son Carmen, brother Stirling, sister Georgie (Elzie) Smith, and half-sister Jean Dystant. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday at the Bideford Conway United Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorials to the Bideford Conway United Church or the Stewart Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
