Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 1st, 2012, George E. Sutton of Milltown, Bay D’Espoir at the age of 97. Predeceased by his loving wife of over 60 years, Rita, brothers Hubert, Gordon (Tilly), Clyde (Millie), son-in-law, Mike Cheeseman and special friend, Gladys Matchem. George will be lovingly remembered by his five children, Mack (Liz), Marina Cheeseman, George Jr. (Glenda), Kathy (Keith) Adams and Dave (Brenda). Also, he will be dearly missed by his brother, Herb (Winnie), sister, Millie (George) and sisters-in-law, Charlotte Kendell and Evelyn Sutton, twenty grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Caul’s Funeral Home in Torbay on Thursday, August 2nd, from 7-9 p.m. Visitation and funeral followed at Christ Anglican Church in Milltown, Bay D'Espoir on Saturday, August 4th. Donations in his memory may be made to Christ Church, Milltown.
