Spidle, K. Douglas – passed away peacefully, following a battle with cancer, at Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday August 12, 2012, of Paris, and formerly of Sarnia, in his 81st year. Doug was born in Nova Scotia, he enlisted with the Canadian Armed Forces serving in Canada and overseas. Following his military service, he was employed as letter carrier in Sarnia for 25 years. Beloved husband to the late Shirley (nee Eagles – 2004); loved dad to Russ (Kathleen) of Harcourt; cherished papa to Tara Lo (Percy) and Eric (Kristel); his great grandson Finley; dear brother in law to Mary Ann Reid and Helen Creighton (Michael), all of Nova Scotia. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life was held at 38 MacPherson Dr. Paris, on Sunday August 19, 2012 from 3-6 PM.
