Patsy Sutherland
CARIBOU, NS – Patsy Lee Sutherland, of Caribou, Pictou County, passed away suddenly August 12, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born January 13, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Mabel (Williams) Hadley.
Patsy loved her gardens and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was also very artistic and had a talent for painting and decorating.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Sutherland; children: Dustan (Corinne), Pictou; Angela (Jason) Bowen, Ontario; Brittany, Caribou; step-children: Timmy (Brandi) Sutherland, Pictou; Robbie (Shirley-Ann) Sutherland, Scotch Hill; Danny (Shay-lene) Sutherland, Port Hawkesbury; Courtney (Aaron Veniot) Sutherland, Dartmouth; grandchildren: Jalen, Jessa, Jade, Keil, Cole; step-grandchildren: Morgan, Allie and Kaelin; aunts, Eleanor (Gordon) MacKay and Kay Williams; many nieces, nephews, and a loving extended family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Jimmy MacKeil and sister, Donna Scherer.
Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral Mass will take place 11 a.m. Friday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery, River John.
