Joseph MacDonald passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Aug. 4, 2012, at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, in his 76th year. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Lorraine Connick (47 years) and their daughters Kelly (Darryl) Simpson, Karen (Richard) Tuck, his grandchildren, Donnovan, Jaceey, Eden, Ryan and Evan Tuck. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Annie MacDonald. Survived by his siblings Bill (Alberta), Rev. Father Robert, Mary (Urban) Laughlin, and Edward (Rosita) and their families. Joe was born in Prince Edward Island and moved to Ontario when he was 24 years old. He worked at Ford Motor Company as a supervisor for over 35 years. Joe enjoyed life. He loved hockey and spending time with his five grandchildren. He was adored and respected by his children and grandchildren and will be missed for his quick wit, wisdom, strength and sense of humour. A private family service will be held at St. George Church, London, Ont. Cremation has taken place. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations can be made to the London Regional Cancer Centre.
