Our hearts were deeply saddened when our dear and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at St. Luke’s Home at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Cecil; infant daughter, Verbena; brother, Sidney Flynn and sister, Pauline Lakin. Leaving to mourn with many wonderful memories of her are daughters: Phyllis (Paul), Lexie (Derrick) and Myr (Earl); grandsons: Kirk (Julie) Lundie, Keith and Matthew Maddocks; great-grandchildren: Sophia and Michael Lundie; sisters: Julie Yetman, Selina (Pleamon) Earle, Malsie Fowler, Blanche (Edward) Dredge, Eva Fowler; brothers: Gordon (Violet) Flynn, Charles (Rita) Ryland, Frank (Gail) Flynn, Amos (Margaret) Ryland, Randell (Ellen) Flynn, Malvin (Ann) Flynn; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, special friend, Florence Bellows, and a large circle of wonderful friends at St. Luke’s. Annie’s love of family and her gentle caring nature will be forever in the hearts of all that love her. Funeral service will be held at Red Bay United Church, Labrador on Monday, August 20, 2012.
